The mobile phone is something many of us take for granted. But did you know your old phone could literally save a life?
DV Safe Phone collects, repurposes & gifts mobile phones to victims of domestic violence (DV). These ‘Safe Phones’ provide a lifeline to call for help when it is needed most. Their goal is to get a safe phone into the hands of every victim of domestic violence who needs one. YOU really can can play a vital role in ensuring no call for help goes unheard.
How can you help?
- Sign out of your old mobile phone including iCloud, iTunes and the App store, and erase your data
- Drop in your old phone to Calamvale Central’s Centre Management Office (located in the Undercover Carpark)
We will pass on all phones to DV Safe Phone who will distribute these phones as needed. If your screen is broken or something is not quite right with your old phone, your donation is still welcome.
